RoNIX – Romanian Network for Internet eXchange

RoNIX is an Internet Exchange node, a national infrastructure for traffic exchange between the main telecommunication and Internet service providers in Romania.

Originally started as a single node, RoNIX soon became a network of Internet eXchange nodes by installing switching equipment in multiple locations.

RoNIX is the first and most important IX in Romania, operated by the telco community grouped in ANISP; is a platform with N x 100Gbps capabilities open to all telecos and / or online service providers.
